J. Cole dropped his second music video G.O.M.D. off his Forest Hills Drive album earlier today.  Directed by Lawrence Lamont, Cole channels struggles within the music industry and transformed them into a deep story about slavery.

Could he possibly be saying that we are still slaves in the mind?

Less than one week away we’ll finally be able to get our ears listening to J Cole’s ‘Forest Hills Drive 2014′ which you can pre-order on iTunes.

Before being able to drop a single, there is already controversy spreading around J Cole’s verse on his song ‘Fire Squad’…

“History repeats itself and that’s just how it goes
Same way that these rappers always bite each others flows
Same thing that my nigga Elvis did with Rock n Roll
Justin Timberlake, Eminem, and then Macklemore
While silly niggas argue over who gone snatch the crown
Look around my nigga white people have snatched the sound
This year I’ll prolly go to the awards dappered down
Watch Iggy win a Grammy as I try to crack a smile
I’m just playin’, but all good jokes contain true shit”

Shots fired.
