Lil Wayne was hospitalized last week after reportedly having a seizure and found unconscious in a hotel room by his body guard.
The 30-year-old rapper was rushed to Cedars Sinai Tuesday but was released the next day.
TMZ tweeted that Weezy was “being prepared for his last rites.” Which lead to a Twitter frenzy with fans wanting to know what’s going on and his friends holding him down.
TMZ has not commented about the tweet and has since then taken it down.
Ronald “Slim” Williams, CEO of Cash Money Records, told Chicago’s WGCI Friday night:
“There ain’t no truth in what you heard today. He’s chillin’. We sittin’ here watching the basketball game with each other. He good.“
However rapper T.I. responded via Twitter
Baby of Cash Money Records and Lil Tunichi’s “Father” also tweeted:
Lil Wayne will remain in the hospital with his loved ones by his side, and a continuation of friends continues to visit him.
